This NTE is unbranded so it does NOT have any logos on it. This listing is for the NTE only, NO backbox or tool is included.

It allows you to easily connect extension wiring

This is a brand new NTE master socket KIT made by the same manufacturer that supplies BT & NTL. It allows a demarcation between the phone suppliers network and the customer owned extensions via the front plate. By sliding out the front plate and plugging a phone directly into the test socket it allows you to check if the fault on your line is down to your supplier or down to yourself via an internal fault, thus saving you an hefty call out charge.

This NTE has SCREW A and B connections on the backplate for the incoming wires NOT IDC connections. The removable faceplate for the extension wires has IDC connections just like all NTE master sockets.

This listing is for the nte5 socket only it does NOT include the backbox. If you want the backbox and the tool look at my nte kit which contains everything.

Picture shows 2 master sockets for the purpose of showing the front and back of socket, the kit comes with just 1 socket.

We always post the same day if payment clears by 5.30pm (mon-fri) and by 11.30am on Saturday. Items will arrive in a well packaged bag and will be delivered via Royal Mail.
