Older models uses the standard 1 x CCFL LCD screen while the newer models uses the latest LED technology screens

Also some HP / Compaq laptops uses the LED screen with a different connector location. Please see link below: -

To check for compatibility you will need to remove the screen from the laptop and tell us the model number on the back of the screen.

Please note: Some screen contain silver foil material on the back where you will may need to remove this to reveal the model number.
