SUPPLIED IN A RESEALABLE BAG

CAN BE SPRINKLED ON THE BARBEQUE TO FLAVOUR FOOD - SIMPLY SPRINKLE ONTO COALS WHEN THE COALS ARE READY FOR COOKING (IE., WHEN THE COALS HAVE TURNED GREY).

ALSO YOU CAN MAKE A PARCEL OF TIN FOIL WITH HOLES PUNCTURED INTO ONE SIDE WITH A KNIFE OR FORK PRONGS, AND PLACE THIS DIRECTLY ONTO THE BARBEQUE COALS
CAN BE PRE-SOAKED FOR SLOWER BURNING - CAN BE SOAKED IN PLAIN WATER, OR MAYBE TRY SOAKING THEM IN YOUR FAVOURITE TIPPLE FOR A RICHER FLAVOUR OR TRY ORANGE OR LEMON JUICE (PLEASE USE CAUTION WHEN PUTTING ALCOHOL SOAKED SHAVINGS STRAIGHT ONTO THE BARBEQUE!!!!)

PUTTING A TIN OR FOIL TRAY OF WATER INSIDE THE BARBEQUE HELPS KEEP THE MEAT MOIST

PUT THE LID ON THE BARBEQUE AND CLOSE VENTS TO HELP THE SMOKE BUILD UP

EXPERIMENT WITH THE AMOUNT OF SHAVINGS, STARTING WITH A LITTLE AT FIRST JUST TO TEST THE INTENSITY OF THE FLAVOUR

SHAVINGS HAVE LESS SURFACE AREA THAN CHIPS AND THEREFORE SMOULDER BETTER
