ONIMARU ARMY OF TWO PAINTBALL AIRSOFT MASK PUNISHER NO2
Forget outdate fiberglass mask then wear the future Onimaru ABS mask!!!!
From the results of our research taken more than two years ,we have found that the best thing the mask should possess is the endurability and the safety of the mask. Because what we sell is the protection for the users from the danger of the bullets of the paintball and the airsoft. So we choose to design and produce the masks by using industrial method instead of using hands in order to be sure that our every mask has the same high quality and last but not least to add a touch of art into that high quality product under the brand name Onimaru.
Designing by using the drawing software ,used by industrial work, you can be sure of the symmetry of the profile of the mask which is different from the hand-sculpted mask which is difficult to have a perfect symmetry.
Material Made from high quality plastic ABS which is not a recycled –plastic, so you can be sure of the high quality of our every mask you purchase and it is not made from the fiberglass which must be hand molded only which making it hard to control the same standard quality of every piece. Our every mask is quality.
Paintjob The plastic ABS is widely accepted as being suitable for doing paint-work which is widely used in the car industry such as the bumper, so you can be sure of the endurability of the paint of our mask.
Ventilation system Our mask design has given more space between your nose and mouth, so you can breathe easier than through a hole from the sideway of the mask. Our design not only gives more room for ventilation but also reinforces a natural way of breathing which is up and down and down and up not on the side way.
Eye protection we have chosen the polycarbonate of the size 2.5.mm to protect your eyes instead of the acrylic because of not only its superior material quality when compared millimeter by millimeter but also its thinner lens produce less vapor on them. And apart from this we have four knots to fix each lens on the mask not using the epoxy glue, because epoxy glue cannot sustain strong impact, so it is not suitable for fixing the lens used for paintball and airsoft high velocity bullets. And besides, the epoxy glue decay with time, so it is dangerous to use the long left-out epoxy fixed lens mask.
Vision The thinness of the lens which is only 2.5 mm gives a clearer vision. Because a thicker lens gives an inaccurate vision. With a lens of 3.2 cm wide and 7cm long which is a bigger size and from our research, you can be sure that you will not be easily shot on the side way from your opponent.
Anti fog Because the material we use for our lens are more superior, and the ventilation space is bigger, you will be sure to receive better anti fog.
Adjustable and supporting liners Wearing your mask with locks on every strap and adjustable liners for firmness and having a small pocket at the back of the straps.
The most lightest mask Only 0.48 Kilograms(padding, lens and metal parts are included) for every mask we sale (lighter than fiberglass mask 25%)
Here are the definitions and general properties:
What is what?
"What is fiberglass?
Fiberglass fibers are made from molten glass extruded at a specified
diameter. The fibers are gathered into bundles and the bundles
combined create a roving. Rovings are a continuous rope, similar to
twine, and are wound on a mandrel to form a ball called a doff.
Reinforcements for frp are made from rovings that are either chopped
into short strands or woven into a cloth..."
"Frp, fiberglass reinforced plastic, is a composite made from
fiberglass reinforcement in a plastic (polymer) matrix. A construction
analogy would be the steel reinforcing bars in a concrete matrix for
"What are plastic/polymers?
There are two basic types of plastics/polymers: thermoplastic and thermoset..."
What is ABS = Poly(Acrylonitrile, Butadiene, Styrene)
"ABS is a copolymer of Acrylonitrile, Butadiene, and Styrene. ABS
plastics generally possess medium strength and performance and medium
cost; ABS is often used as the cost and performance dividing line
between standard plastics (PVC, polyethylene, polystyrene, etc.) and
engineering plastics (acrylic, nylon, acetal, etc.). ABS polymers can
be engineered by the manufacturer togive a range of physical
properties, depending on the ratio of the monomeric constituents and
the molecular level connectivity. Typically, a styrene-acrylonitrile
glassy phase is toughened by an amorphous
butadiene/butadiene-acrylonitrile rubber phase"
Laminates/composites in general:
"...the composite material is commonly referred to by the name of its
reinforcing fibers (fiberglass), an example of part-for-whole
metonymy. The plastic is most often polyester or vinylester, but other
plastics, like epoxy (GRE), are also sometimes used..."
The advantage of ABS is that this material combines the strength and
rigidity of the acrylonitrile and styrene polymers with the toughness
of the polybutadiene rubber. The most amazing mechanical properties of
ABS are resistance and toughness. A variety of modifications can be
made to improve impact resistance, toughness, and heat resistance. For
instance, the impact resistance can be amplified by increasing the
proportions of polybutadiene in relation to styrene and acrylonitrile
although this causes changes in other properties. Impact resistance
does not fall off rapidly at lower temperatures
Glass fibers are useful because of their high ratio of surface area to
weight. However, the increased surface makes them much more
susceptible to chemical attack.
By trapping air within them, blocks of glass fibre make good thermal
insulation, with a thermal resistance of 0.04 W/mK.
Glass strengths are usually tested and reported for "virgin" fibers
which have just been manufactured. The freshest, thinnest fibers are
the strongest and this is thought to be due to the fact that it is
easier for thinner fibers to bend. The more the surface is scratched,
the less the resulting tenacity is. Because glass has an amorphous
structure, its properties are the same along the fiber and across the
fiber. Humidity is an important factor in the tensile strength.
Moisture is easily adsorbed, and can worsen microscopic cracks and
surface defects, and lessen tenacity.
In contrast to carbon fiber, glass can undergo more elongation before
it breaks.
The viscosity of the molten glass is very important for manufacturing
success. During drawing (pulling of the glass to reduce fiber
circumference) the viscosity should be relatively low. If it is too
high the fiber will break during drawing, however if it is too low the
glass will form droplets rather than drawing out into fiber.
