Magic Lantern Glass Slide

Size: 3 1/4" X 4"

Specific Issues/Conditions (if any):  Please see the seller's notes above (if any).

General Conditions:  I do not always mention defects which are clearly visible in the pictures.  In addition, I do not always list problems which are typical for slides this old.  For example:  Glass may be dusty or have smudge marks or other dirt on it (I do not usually attempt to clean before selling) or may have minor scratches, surface abrasions, or oxidation between the sheets of glass.  Small specks or scratches may be present in the slide image itself. There may be writing, scribbles, or other marks on labels, and the labels may be torn, faded, or missing. In some cases there may be a label on the reverse side which is not shown.  There can be small nicks on the edges or corners of the glass and also small scratches on the glass which I might not call out. I do make a special note of any cracks (unless they are behind the tape and I don't know they are there). The tape holding the slide together may be loose, ripped, torn, damaged, or partially missing, and sometimes the slide might be sticky from the adhesive on the tape or label.  There can often be slight browning/and or fading of the image, particularly where the image meets the paper mat.  Please zoom in and examine all pictures carefully.  For slides which are framed in stapled cardboard (typically movie slides), there can be rust on the staples, slightly deteriorating cardboard, etc.

If there is a date/year in the title of this listing, it comes from the label on the slide and is usually the date of the item (such as artwork) pictured in the slide.  It may not be the date the slide was actually created.  Also, I often can not fit the full title of the slide and other information in the listing.  Please review all of the pictures and zoom in to get the full titles of the slide.

Photos are hard to get perfect:  The actual slide is usually more "in focus" than the pictures I take.  Flash marks or back lighting may create a bright white area or other reflections not in the actual slide (often a reflection of the camera).  I generally take these using a computer screen as a backlight, and it sometimes create a grid pattern that is not in the slide.  I usually take the pictures from the LABEL side of the slide, which is often the BACK side.  This means the pictures are often a mirror image of how they should be projected.

Please Provide Your Correct Address When Paying:  I do not usually honor requests to change the address an item is being shipped to.  If an item comes back to me as undeliverable or refused, I generally do not refund money.

Combined Shipping: I combine shipping on purchases over a 1-week period paid for at the same time.  If you need longer, please communicate with me. Automatically calculated combined shipping rates for priority or express mail WILL be wrong (typically a bit high).  If you are buying multiple items and you want them sent via priority or express mail, contact me before paying.

US Shipping - EACH ADDITIONAL SLIDE is only 60 cents.  The shipping discount should be applied automatically when you check-out.  If not, please contact me before paying and I will send a combined invoice.  Some of my older listings show a shipping table with slightly different rates.  When I switched over to using eBay's automatically calculated rates, I tried to make the calculated rates as cheap (or cheaper than) my previous rates, but if need be, I will honor the lowest stated combined shipping rate if you contact me BEFORE paying.  NOTE:  If you buy 20 or more slides, I can usually package the slides in to flat-rate boxes for a cheaper price than the automatic discounts shown, so please contact me before paying and I will adjust the invoice(s).

International Shipping:  If a customs form is required, we fill in the actual price of the item(s). Customs and other similar fees are NOT included in the price and are the sole responsibility of the buyer.   I can usually ship two slides for the same shipping cost of a single slide. A single slide (with packaging) is around 5 ounces. Two slides with packaging is usually 7 ounces.  To take advantage of international combined shipping, please WAIT to pay until I have adjusted the shipping costs.  If you are an non-US buyer with less than 10 positive feedback OR you plan on buying items totalling more than $100 from me, I may require the shipment to be done via an international trackable method.  Please contact me to discuss before buying. (Long-term repeat customers: no need to contact me for approval).  Depending on the country, it can take 6 weeks or longer to arrive, particularly if it gets held up in customs.
