This is a good size table - I thought it small at first but it's been good to work with. Very sturdy and easy to assemble. Comes with useful feather boards and such. My gripe is with the black router plate that you have to drill and counter sink to install the router. It was a fiddly job to get right and the plastic was brittle - I think I cracked mine while drilling it. Although it's been working well since I attached the router. At some point I think I'll try to replace the plate - but I see no reason to change the table.

This table is well made, compact and very practical. I do however have one observation. The implication is that the table fits 'most' routers. Indeed, most routers will screw onto the plate. However... To adjust a router fixed to a table can involve a lot of awkward fiddling under the table. Or, better, you just undo the 4 screws and lift the router plus plate off the table, which makes adjustment/fitting new cutters, a lot easier. However, I have two routers, and in both cases the dimension across the handles is too large to enable the assembly to be lifted through the aperture. So you either fiddle with the router still attached under the table, or you completely dismantle the router from the table to get at it. I have overcome this by enlarging the hole in the table, and making a new plate insert. Maybe Charnwood can consider modifying the design, so as to enable the router plus plate to be lifted out.Read full review

I bought this table, and it was so easy to mount the router to, I just followed the instructions, and found it to be great. I used the table to make some food mats for a restaurant, once it was set up I found it great, it saved my back aching and did the job in half of the time. Buy with confidence and you won't be disappointed.

I purchased one of these 6 months ago and have now done of few jobs with it. The table is a nice size and fairly easy to set up. You do need to drill the insert plate but it's not that difficult. I have a palm router so didn't need to add riser blocks to make the table higher to fit my router. The feather boards work really well and the whole thing feels fairly sturdy. My issue with it is the insert plate - it's black plastic and you just can't see the graduation (ruler) marks on it very well which does make setting up a lot more difficult. Mine has also already cracked. If only they had made this of metal it would be great !

This Router is a great addition for a DIY workshop I have modified mine by replacing the black plastic insert with a metal one which I can now read the measurements. This is the only negative as other reviewers have mentioned the same. It is of course a 1/4" router table only suitable for 1/4" router trimmers.
