        This is the improvement of MK2-TK2050 PCBS

This new amplifier beats the competition by miles,  the best we could squeeze out of the STA508 is now available in a handy pre-manufactured PCB that just needs a screwdriver to connect it!

Specifications:

140W at 4 Ω maximal power. ( >10% THD @ 32V)

 58 watt at <0.025% THD over 8 Ω

100 watt at <0.2% THD over 4 Ω

 Bandwidth: 5hz ~ 24KHZ  <1Db

 Single 24V 5A power supply needed Idle current, 140mA

 - Super sized output coils rated 12A

 - Panasonic buffer capacitors, 2X 42V/4700uF at just 2CM from the IC

 - Delayed speaker switching with relay

 - Speaker protection circuit that uses the over temp and overload outputs of         the TC2000 and the STA508 IC's

 - 400V 2.2uF Audio grade film capacitor used

 - Big 2X 5A parallel relay used for speaker protection

 - 5V supply onboard

 - Handy screw connectors for power/speakers/signal input, no soldering        needed

 - DC offset adjustment available

 - Large heat sink

The design of this PCB took months, and many tries to get the best sound out of the STA508 IC,  but the result is there, an optimal design with allot of ingenious solutions to minimalise distortion and maximalise sound quality.

The TC2000 has its own ground plane, and is placed as close as possible to the STA508 to keep distortion down and EMC to a minimum.  the output coils almost touch the IC, again giving EMC issues no chance.

High current tracks have been placed at both sides of the PCB doubling there size and extra thick 2OZ copper has been used.

The sound is as detailed as the TA2024 but with 6  times as much power!
