Buyer Feedback: "Tremendous...even better than hoped !!! AAAA++++"
Pilot's Notes General comprises information for pilots, supplementing that contained in the Pilot's Notes for individual aircraft types. Much revised from the 3rd Edition, it is issued in loose leaf form to facilitate subsequent revision and amendment.
The issue of Pilot's Notes General makes it possible to exclude from all of the specific Pilot's Notes much information of a general nature, so keeping the latter as compact as possible.

Weight: 600gms (The weight coupled with the thickness of the manual makes the item a Small Parcel under the Royal Mail charge structure: £2.60 + packaging within the UK.)
This is a facsimile of an item from a large amount of distressed Pilot's Notes and other RAF/aircraft items which were rescued from the estate of a post-war RAF officer. Most of the manuals were 50+ years old and most of the original covers had a degree of fading to the colouring. The original manuals were presented as either loose-leaf, bound together with treasury tags or book-rings, or softback. The facsimile manuals have been digitally refurbished and cleaned (marks, print-through and annotations removed, tears and creases made good) and reproduced on high quality heavyweight paper to be as close to the original as it is possible to get.(see pic)
Buy one item and you'll pay whatever is stated on the listing (if anything). Buy one or more other items and wait for me to respond with a discounted P&P price. I don't expect to make profit on postage; I only want to get back what it costs me. The more you buy, the cheaper the unit costs are.

The Information Pack supplied as a FREE BONUS with each manual is between 2 and 10 A4 pages in length. All the details in the pack (articles, drawings, cutaways, colour and b&w photographs) are reproduced from my extensive library of original source material from the period when the manual was in daily use by the aircrew. I have every copy of 'The Aeroplane' & 'Flight' weekly newspapers from the war years together with an almost complete collection of the 'RAF Flying Review' and 'Air Pictorial' and literally thousands of copies of leading aeronautical magazines such as 'Wingspan', 'Flypast', 'Aircraft Illustrated', 'Wings', 'ATC and Air Reserve Gazette', 'The Spotter', 'Air Extra', Air International' and much more. I scour these publications for information relevant to each manual, edit it where necessary and then print it out. If the pack consists of 2 pages, then I have not been able to find very much information on the aircraft in question. Typically, the pack is between 4 & 6 pages.
Here's what previous buyers have said about their purchase:
"Halifax - Excellent in every repect. Enabled me to understand a lot more about the internal arrangement of the Halifax. When I went inside the plane it made a great deal more sense that if I had not had the notes. "
"Shackleton Mk2 Pilots Notes: I expected a photocopy, but was impressed with the quality and particularly the superbly bound and printed delivery."
"Recommended Brilliant ..my aviation mad Brother will love this ...always spitfires ! A1+!"
"Absolutely no faults with this excellent transaction ! Carry on the good work !!"
"Perfection in eBaying ! Keep up the Good Work ! I'm a Happy Chappy as a result."
"Awesome Service & Excellent Product Thanks, Great to Deal With"
Every manual is printed specifically to order; I do not keep stocks. The benefit of this is that, as I am personally printing the manual, I am able to ensure that it is of the highest quality. Apart from being, at A5, slightly larger than all similar titles, using heavyweight digital paper means that the print is vibrant and very easy to read.
