A beautiful Paul Ysart single harlequin paperweight from the Harland works period. Although there is no signature cane it's design complies with those made as Highland Paperweights many of which only had a paper label attached to the base.
Amongst the last paperweights made by Paul Ysart after the closure of the Harland glass works in 1975 Paul carried on production in the same premises for a brief period making paperweights under the name Highland Paperweights before retiring due to failing health.
Very good condition, no bruises, cracks or scratches.
Approximately 70mm diameter by 53mm high
(2 3/4" x 2 1/8")
