Hello, I am a model and prop maker in the film industry and i have been making models and patterns for around 20 years. I have worked on around 25 films and numerous TV shows working with props, miniatures, Armoury and costume props. I have built a unique and stylish case with a very bespoke feel using the skills and techniques employed in my line of work. i hope you like it. I believe there are no cases even remotely like these. Made in the same way or hand finished to the degree that these are. This beautiful, practical and stylish case is designed, built and weathered by me. This is the un-weathered option which is not rusty or oxidised. To see the other version follow the link below. These are hand made and hand finished. They are not mass produced in the hundreds of thousands like every other I Phone/pod case you see. The master of these cases was built from hand picked watch and clock parts. Assembled and then moulded in platinum silicone. They are then cast in a durable UV stable Polyurethane resin impreganted with metal powders. Each case has real Brass, bronze copper and iron metal filler powders in them. this is the only way to achieve the perfectly realistic metal rusting and corroding patinas. When you buy this case you will be one of only 50 people who has the same configuration of metal compounds. After a run of 50 units I change the configuration giving a totally different look to each set. Due to the nature of Platinum silicone moulds I will only be able to produce 40-45 castings from each mould. after that the mould is useless and discarded. A new case is then built and remoulded. I do not see any point in owning a case for an I Phone(which is worth between £400 - £500 ) which is mass produced. One hundred thousand people or more could have the exact same case. So why not stand out, own a beautiful i phone case. |
