This photo booth was built by one of the UK’s leading portable fun photo booth hire and build companies – Boothstar. It was built in December 2010 for a media agency working on a brand promotion for a large electronic manufacturer. The unit has been used for approximately 9 hours in total.

It is offered for sale as a complete booth including laptop, high quality Canon camera, Mitsubishi Dye Sub printer (capable of printing over 600 images at 8 seconds per print), Elinchrom studio lighting, and a ELO touch screen monitor. (The laptop comes with proprietary Boothstar Technology software installed). It is available with high gloss black unbranded outer panels (high gloss white are also available should you prefer).

With the high gloss outer panels, touch screen technology and a lightweight retro design, this booth appeals to a wide audience. The BoothStar software allows a wide range of standard print layouts from black & white or colour strips, modern 2 x 2 grids or customized photo overlays and boarders.

It dismantles into four sections and can be transported into virtually any venue. Manoeuvering the unit is ideally a 2 person job, it is possible by one person with the supplied trolley. (Stairs would require 2 people).

Fun photo booth hire is still in its infancy in the UK, but across the pond they have been event must-haves for the past 5 years. Aiming primarily at the wedding, party, bar mitzvah and corporate market. Boothstar have invested considerable amounts of capital and time into building a near perfect combination of a lightweight design with great looks and durability. Need proof? They have many photographs of up to 6 drunken guests squeezing in for a photograph. Boothstar’s previous clients have included many stars and corporate clients including Christian Dior, Spotify, The Sun and Lloyds TSB.

This unit is normally offered for hire at a rate of £595+ for a 3 hour hire period.

With just 4 events per month an annual income of over £25k is easily achieved.
