POKEMON 3: THE MOVIE, the third full-length animated feature based on the popular Japanese cartoon series (adapted for American audiences by producer Norman Grossfeld and director Michael Haigney) presents an intriguing blend of fast-paced adventure and fantasy. Young Pokemon trainer Ash and his traveling companions arrive at the idyllic town of Greenfield, where they encounter five-year-old Molly, a lonely little girl whose parents have disappeared into another dimension inhabited by the Unown. These cryptic hieroglyphic-shaped Pokemon are able to read the minds of humans and make their dreams become reality. With the help of the Unown, Molly's overactive imagination has spawned a bizarre dream world complete with a crystal tower of gigantic proportions and a mighty guardian Pokemon to do her bidding. After fighting their way inside Molly's refuge, Ash's loyal Pokemon pals and the Unown finally clash in a splashy computer-enhanced showdown.
As in the first and second Pokemon movie installments, an animated short precedes the main feature: In PIKACHU AND PICHU, everyone's favorite yellow electric Pokemon encounters the playful Pichu brothers during a trip to the big city, along with a host of colorful new Pokemon first introduced in Pokemon Gold and Silver for the Nintendo Game Boy.

pokemon fans will fall under the spell of the unknown.
Again another must have for the childrens collection on DVD. having had this movie on video cassette for a number of years but not having a video player anymore and with the children re-newing there interest in pokemon it was time to buy the collection on dvd, and i am glad we did? i had forgoten how good this movie actualy is a definate must for any pokemon fan packed full of adventure possible catastraphe endless battles packed full of excitment & rescue. legendary pokemon entei having kidnapped ash's mum, uncertain as to what he might uncover ash must go to her rescue? he unlocks the real secret power behind the unbeleivable events: a young girl who's dream world is becoming a nightmare reality by the most unstoppable pokemon ever - the unknown! WORTH THE MONEY BUY IT
FIVE Stars. ***** Pokémon 3 is on Home Video, what can I say? If you enjoyed the action packed movie on the big screen, then take it home on VHS! You have all the cuteness of the Mini-Movie, Pikachu and Pichu, and all the action in the full length feature, The Spell Of The Unown! I recommend this to any Pokémon fan who wants the battle of Entei and Charizard to watch at their leisure!

I purchased Pokemon movie 3 originally as I am collecting all of the movies of the pokemon seires, I collect anime of different types and this appealed to me. With purchasing Pokemon movie 3 I have found that I enjoy the storyline and find that it plays perfect on my DVD player. There are no faults that I have found with this movie and are perfectly happy with this buy. I found the price reasonable, the postage to be quick and the service excellent.
