For Auction – A vintage single lens reflex Land Camera by Polaroid

The SX-70 Model 1 was the first instant SLR camera in history, and the first camera to use Polaroids revolutionary integral print film which developed automatically without intervention.

This high end consumer camera was revolutionary in both technology with a 4-element 116mm f/8 glass lens, and an automatic exposure system, manual focus as close as 10.4 inches (26.4cm), and a shutter speed range from 1/175s to more than 10 seconds, and in design with a fully collapsible to flat case in brushed chrome with leather type panelling. 

This camera has been used by me, and gives you the pictures that you want to achieve from a vintage camera of this quality. aesthetically it is in good to very good condition with some scuffing to the leather under the view finder and some light scratches to the chrome.

The case opens cleanly and has no cracks or signs of rough handling, internally the camera is very clean with no damage to the bellows, the buttons and wheels work as they should and the lens and viewfinder are clean and fairly bright.
