Firstly, to be totally honest, I haven't started reading this book yet. However I bought it along with the Durabooks title The Beach Book, which I have begun, and I own three other Durabooks, Aqua Erotica, Aqua Erotica 2 and Wet - More Aqua Erotica, and so I am well able to comment on the general standards of the publisher, which are excellent. These sturdy books are very well put together and stand up well to repeated reading, with no loosening of pages or detaching of the spine, in addition to their obvious quality of being entirely waterproof. In terms of content I have been very happy with the books. The Aqua Erotica books are spicy enough to be entertaining to somebody who has read some pretty strong material, as I have, without being so over the top that they will be unpalatable for those with milder tastes. A very well-chosen and well-balanced selection. Poolside and The Beach Book, judging by what I have read so far of the latter (about a third) and the list of authors, are more mainstream fiction, but equally well-chosen stories with similarly watery connections to the erotic books, based unsurprisingly around pools and beaches, but minus the sexual flavours. For those who like to linger for hours in a hot bath and soak up entertaining fiction as they soak in bath bomb fragranced water, all five of the books are most enjoyable, both on first and subsequent readings, and I look forward to more Durabooks becoming available, they are a fantastic idea and top value.Read full review
