I have never used a pop rivet gun before. So I watched a few clips on YouTube. I also did a few tests prior to me doing the job. I placed a little bit of aluminium behind and used Coach bolts to make more secure. One thing I did not expect was the amount of pressure I had to administer before the end snapped off I'm happy with it.

The leverage is rather poor making the larger diameter rivets really hard to 'pop'. Also the gripper mechanism does not always release completely causing the rivet to remain unfinished,a sharp clout normally gets things working again. I suppose its a case of getting what you pay for, I should have paid a bit more and perhaps got a better tool.

I bought this to do a repair to a motorcycle seat. The riveter worked fine and I completed the job very easily. No problems with rivet tails getting stuck and quiet easy to compress the handles..

Brillant item , well made and worked each and every time . Obviously aimed at the diy market, would not bother spending anymore than this for using around the house . 100% recommended.
