Pretty 2 bed ensuite, surprisingly spacious, rustic stone cottage in the Creuse , Limousin, France.
It is the middle house of 3, situated in a quiet no through traffic lane in a beautiful village surrounded by lovely countryside.We have owned it for 12 years and have lovingly restored it. The village of Moutier Rozeille is 5km outside the town of Aubusson, noted for its tapestry and the same distance from the market town of Felletin where yearly there is a major music and dance festival. Both towns have many shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Limoges airport is approximately 2 hours away and in the other direction lies Clermont Ferrand and the Auvergne.There is a large lake about 1 hour away at Vassiviere.
We are selling this house furnished and equipped ready for use. It is very rare to find a house for sale in Moutier Rozeille.
This cottage has bags of character with stone walls and open beams. It has a fully fitted kitchen, large dining room, large living room and two bedrooms with bathrooms en suite.There is a wood burner in the living room and a local supplier brings suitable logs which are stored in the cave/garage under the living room.The dining room has an old fashioned wood fired cuisiniere which we use for heating the room and cooking occasionally.We use supplementary portable electric radiators very effectively in all the rooms. This property is not ideal children but great for 2 couples. The neighbours are very friendly and excellent guardians.
Further improvements which we have yet to get round to doing involve boxing in the electric power point and other minor jobs.

We are also about to list a building plot nearby with stunning views of the village. If anyone is interested in building a bespoke house, they could live in the cottage, whilst working on their dream home.
