Pro-Painted Converted Deathwing Terminator Command Squad

Up for auction, a heavily converted Dark Angels Deathwing Terminator command squad.

This is a truly unique set, ideal as the centrepiece for a Dark Angels army. The squad has been heavily converted from the traditional Deathwing Terminator models to fulfil all the battlefield roles expected of the elite personal retinue of a Captain of the Deathwing.

They've been mounted on scenic bases, resembling a ruined cityscape, consisting of piles of rubble, destroyed walls and pillars.

Captain & Watcher

The Captain is clad in ornate terminator armour and robes, including a kneeling Dark Angel atop his armour, and carries his own personal heraldic banner. He's armed with one of the treasure obsidian swords of the Dark Angels, and a mighty storm bolter. He's also accompanied by one of the chapter's mysterious servants, a Watcher in the Dark, bearing the sacred Lion Helm.

Veteran Sergeant 

The Veteran Sergeant is the closest thing to a "standard" model in this squad; even then, he's covered with Deathwing iconography, from the feathers dangling from his storm bolter, to the hand-painted Deathwing symbol on his armour and the chapter symbol mounted on his back.

Standard Bearer

The standard bearer is a particularly impressive model, as befits an honoured chapter veteran. He's mounted on a huge, raised display base, scattered with the ruins of a city. His raised vantage point is the perfect place to fire his mighty Assault Cannon and ensure that his gigantic chapter banner is visible to friend and foe alike. His banner comprises a mighty winged sword and about as many purity seals as it's possible to carry. 

Master of the Forge

This Techmarine terminator is the highest ranking devotee of the Machine God in the chapter, and is a vital (and unusual) member of the squad. Not only can he hold his own in a fight, but this scion of Mars is also able to repair vehicles and assist his brothers with fire control. He's armed with a storm bolter and chainfist (perfect for urgent battlefield vehicle repairs. He also carries a powerful servo arm and carries a mounted sensor array atop his heavily modified armour, which also connects to an armour-mounted flamer. His armour is finely detailed, marking him as both an honoured member of the Deathwing company, and as a fully-fledged master of the Adeptus Mechanicus' teachings. Many of his armour plates are painted in the red of the Mechanicus, and feature hand-painted gear-tooth detailing. As a finishing touch, his armour also mounts a large feathered banner, leaving no doubt as to his chapter devotion.

Master Apothecary

The final member of the squad is the Master Apothecary. Armed and armoured like his brothers, in Terminator armour, with a chainfist and storm bolter, he also has a number of additions to his equipment. 

His armour mounts an array of surgical tools, including a medical servo arm with saws, drills and a variety of injectors. A number of his armour plates are painted the white of the Apothecarion, and his armour is adorned with a hand-painted Prime Helix, modified to show his devotion to the Inner Circle of the chapter.

As you can see, this is a chance to own a truly unique centrepiece for your Dark Angels force. Whether you run a vehicle-based army, a traditional company organisation, or a full Terminator strike force, this set is the ultimate expression of the secrets and darkness at the heart of the First Chapter.

Not only are these beautiful models in their own right, but they've also been painted in great detail, from glowing lenses in their helmets, scorch marks on the barrel of the Plasma Cannon, and all manner of freehand work on the plasma cannon's hoses and the marine's robes (in particular the Company Champion, whose robes boast finely detailed swords all over the edges.

All in all, the perfect command squad for any Dark Angels (or successor) force. I'm also offering a converted Captain Belial of the 3rd Company (see my other items), and these chaps would work perfectly as his personal command squad. 

This set has been professionally painted by a professional-type painter (rather than dipped in primer and drybrushed, like most "pro-painted" models).
