These alarms look the part and are a quarter of the price than delks,I did think the turn diles would be better they don't click on to each number also a bit flimsy, the square battery is a bonus! Can't change frequency like you can on the back of most,Not sure if someone else on the pond has the same alarms my receiver will sound which has happened to me in the past, built in snag ears are also a bonus no need to purchase some, they feel like they have a rubber coating on them massive thumbs up! Don't see the point in courtesy night light it just blinds you, everyone has a bivvy light, prologic has a dedicated drop back indicator which is great however it's a different tone to what you have your alarm set to,which would be ok BUT there all set to the same tone? And white in colour personally think they should be the colour of the alarm-middle of the night pitch dark look at receiver and can only see white-puzzling, overall great alarms look good do the job and quite cheapRead full review

As soon as you pick up the R2L you immediately know it's quality. They have a finish that compares to the most expensive systems on the market and a quality that exceeds most of the competition. Prologic have got these just right with all the functions that matter. Very user friendly and adjustable to the extreme. Well done prologic . Great value alarm system.

Love the look and function of these alarms. Unfortunately first time on the bank with them i took them out and the push light button was missing off the receiver switch. Luckily i found it in the buzzer bag and pushed it back on. On further inspection all 3 buttons came off very easily by just gently tapping the receiver face down on a surface. I've attached them permanently now with a dab of decent glue and i do still like them and am keeping them but not a great start and this shouldn't be necessary on brand new £200+ alarms fresh out the box. Bought them from a popular large chain store, not Ebay.

OK, I'm old enough to have bought and used Efgeeco Optonic bite alarms, 1988. It's taken over 30 years for someone to release a new version. Like the original Optonic, the R2L 'reacts to light', hence the name R2L. No magnetic rollers! None. I have had takes not register with mag rollers, like skip...and before you say Delks' I can't use them on rivers, I tried. This is the 2nd set, bought (cheaply) as I think Prologic have discontinued them. My original set is still going 2 years on and a lot of wet nights involved there. Pretty much the ultimate predator alarm, here's why. No resistance, no bobbin weights and slack lining possible. very good adjustment for sensitivity, tone and volume, although I usually fish the receiver and the heads silent. Totally came through days of heavy rain, but there is a caveat - unpack, unload the battery and let them dry out completely as soon as possible, many alarms are killed by not doing this after a welly session. Peace to all Angling bredren, tight lines, wet nets Read full review

As usual Prologic have produced quality Alarms that compare or exceed other top brand names. I’ve used my set in four seasons conditions and the ability to adjust them to your needs is first class. The heads and receiver are beautifully made and feel it when you pick them up . These are my first choice over Alarms I own costing over twice as much. Well done Prologic.
