The French called them 'Soliflore'- as only one floral is presented in the scent. The great grand mother of all modern scent.
Osmanthus, a very hard to find scent that one will attract admiration as the fragrance is very distinctive.

Osmanthus is a popular shrubs only grow in the warm temperate zone, from Western border of Asia to its East. In China, Osmanthus has been used for thousand of years as fragrance and culinary purpose. Osmanthus tea is one of the everyday encounter, just like the use of Jasmine to make tea.

That is also called Sweet Osmanthus, an evergreen shrub or small tree growing to 3–12 m tall. They are 7–15 cm long and 2.5-5 cm broad, with an entire or finely toothed margin. The flowers are white, pale yellow, yellow, or orange-yellow. Small (1 cm long), with a four-lobed corolla 5 mm diameter, and have a strong fragrance. Its deliciously fragrant flowers which carry the scent of ripe peaches or apricot. Produced in small clusters in the late summer and autumn.
