These bracelets are made up of 9 x 12 mm shamballa resin beads, 2 x 10 mm hematite and 2 x 8 mm hematite beads.

The macrame strap is easily size adjustable as follows.

Just pull the two strings hanging from the bracelet apart - this allows the inner threads to open up.

Once it is on the wrist just pull the two strings again to tighten the bracelet back.

About Shamballa

In Tibetan  and Indian Buddhist traditions, Shambhala (also spelled Shambala or Shamballa) is a mythical kingdom hidden somewhere in Inner Asia. It is mentioned in various ancient texts, including the Kalachakra Tantra and the ancient texts of the Zhang Zhung culture which predated Tibetan Buddhism in western Tibet.

Whatever the historical basis, Shambhala gradually came to be seen as a Buddhist Pure Land, a fabulous kingdom whose reality is visionary or spiritual as much as physical or geographic. It was in this form that the Shambhala myth reached the West, where it influenced non-Buddhist as well as Buddhist spiritual seekers — and, to some extent, popular culture in general.

SHAMBALLA symbolizes PEACE, TRANQUILITY & HAPPINESS, and the jewellery can be worn for healing, meditation or spiritual path.

Each colour of shamballa jewellery has a different meaning and ideal behind them and allows a different thought process in the meditative state. Brief descriptions of these are:

Light Blue – Tranquillity, peace and relaxation.
Gold – Bountiful beauty and unparalleled desire.
Silver/White – Clear thoughts and deep mediation.
Gold and Silver – The dream state, and the true thoughts of the inner subconscious.
Multi Coloured – The Unfocused mind, the desire of the human psych to constantly jump from thought to thought.
Pink – The meaning of the pink shamballa is eternal love, in both our minds and the greater universe.
Red – The red shamballa bracelets meaning is one of courage and bravery, and a will to known the unknown.

More About Shamballa Jewellery

Some designs include hematite magnetic beads (which are believed to help with aches and pains associated with rheumatism, but should not be worn by people with a pacemaker or during pregnancy).  The colourful rhinestone beads represent  kabbalistic meanings, dating back to the tribes of Israel.

The colours used have a fascinating and unique meaning. The theory of colours relates to the colours in the Shamballa item you buy. The colour you select promotes the feeling of well-being associated to the emotion or physical condition you wish to develop.

Our eyes are the organ we most obviously associate with being sensitive to light, which, we then interpret as seeing different colours. There is research which suggests other parts of the body may be sensitive to different wavelengths of light (meaning different colours), and these areas are called ‘Chakra’ named after a Sanskrit word meaning ‘wheel’; as they are thought to be wheels of good energy. There are believed to be 7 different Chakra each one associated with a colour and specific feeling of well-being.

 Black Shamballa Jewellery

Black is the absence of any other colour and is often associated with mystery, fear, evil, death and the unknown, think about black holes!

It usually has a negative connotation (black-list, black comedy, ‘black death’), but it also denotes strength and authority; it is considered to be a very formal, elegant, and a prestigious colour (black tie).

The hip hop trend has picked up on the black shamballa bracelet and renamed them disco ball bracelets.

Black Shamballa has come to be connected with power, elegance, formality.

White or Clear Shamballa Jewellery

Strictly speaking white is not a colour, but a mix of all colours and associated with the Crown Chakra.

White or clear is considered to be the colour of perfection bringing clarity and purity, increasing the flow of the life force. Healing the body, mind and spirit at all levels it stands for wholeness, completion, truth, openness and kindness.

White or clear is the colour for new beginnings, enthusiasm, clarity of purpose, spiritual insights and inspiration.  This is why white diamonds are always considered the choice of the romantic or for engagement rings.

White is the colour of purity, innocence, and truth.

White Shamballa wearers rule the night and the dream world, and are bringers of new life, fertility, new beginnings and totality; endless complete love. Even the addition of one clear white bead to a Shamballa Bracelet signifies purity and love, such is the strength of total reflection.

White casts purity, innocence, virginity, cleanliness, and neutrality and stands for safety, strength, and cleanliness. Hence medical white coats, white wedding dresses, and the ‘white light’ of consciousness.

Red Shamballa Jewellery

Associated with the Root or Base Chakra found at the base of your spine. As you might think red shamballa is linked to the emotion of passion and sexuality. The feeling of security, reality, grounding, stability and support.

If you lack enthusiasm or interest in an aspect of your life, a feeling of anxiety or unwarranted fear and a feeling that you have dreams which you just cannot bring into reality, you need to add more red to your life!

Orange Shamballa Jewellery

Associated with the lower abdomen, the sacral chakra is lighter in terms of feelings, intimacy and sensuality. Orange Shamballa is linked to the emotion of desire and intimacy and balances creativity, releasing stress and blocks in your life which prevent enjoyment.

Yellow, Golden and Champagne Shamballa Jewellery

Related to the Solar Plexus, the sunshine Centre. Yellow and Golden colours are associated with purpose, personal will power, optimism and self confidence. These come through an increase of intelligence, thinking, clarity and logic which flows through the solar plexus.

Green Shamballa Bracelet

Green is related to the centre of the chest or the Heart Chakra and as we know from associations with nature gives rise to balance and harmony: renewal, growth, forgiveness and acceptance in love and relationships. Green is the bringer of harmony, increasing calm and a sense of direction in life.

Blue Shamballa Bracelet

Associated with the throat Chakra, blue is the bringer of expansion and healing: expansion through communication, wisdom and creative expression. Blue is associated with trust, planning and organisation.
If you are feeling in need of some inner healing and nurturing of your creative communicative side; this is the colour for you!

Indigo Shamballa Bracelet

Indigo and dark blue is related to the imaginative, intuitive aspects of our lives. Associated with the forehead or Brow Chakra, the light rays emanating from indigo sources are said to promote intuition, self-realization, perception and psychic abilities. So if you want to increase your ability to live life on good hunches or to have confidence in the inner voice, then go ahead and wear lots of indigo.

Purple, Lilac or Violet Shamballa Bracelet

The seventh chakra is the Crown Chakra at the top of the head responds to violet colour rays. This is associated with bliss and spirituality, balancing all aspects of ‘self’-physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Violet rays are said to promote all ‘knowingness’, inspiration, wisdom and awareness of your higher self.
