Overview	This is a really beautiful watch, one of my favourites - a rare Hermes  gents solid 14ct gold watch, dating from the 1940s and in absolutely  excellent condition for a watch of this age. The watch comes from my  personal collection and is always much admired. The watch was made for  Hermes by Eterna, a famous Swiss watchmaker. The watch features a  gleaming solid 14ct gold case, original crown, a clean, high grade  hand-wound 17 jewel movement and a beautiful clean, crisp dial. The  watch comes complete with a new leather strap and a quality presentation  box.
	My asking price is already fair  for a watch that will only rise further in value - so only sensible  best offers please. Such is the high quality of the watch, I will  include a six month written guarantee on the movement, which is long  enough for you to assess it. I also include a professional insurance  valuation, in excess of my asking price. Also, I offer a full refund if  you are not entirely happy, as long as the watch is returned within  seven days if UK customer, fourteen days if overseas, in the same condition. Case	The solid 14ct gold case is in excellent gleaming condition, with no  significant wear. The case measures 22.2mm wide, excluding the original  crown x 39.3mm long, including the solid gold fixed bar lugs. The  outside back of the case is signed with the ‘3081922’ case reference  number, while the inside case is signed ‘Eterna Watch Co’, ‘Swiss’ and  carries Swiss hallmarks for solid 14ct gold.
Dial	The beautiful dial is in mint clean condition and is signed 'Hermes’.  The original blued steel Breguet ‘moon’ hands are also in excellent  condition, and the lens is very clear.
Movement	The hand-wound 17 jewel movement is in superb, clean condition and  features gold jewel chatons. It is signed 'Eterna' and '3103970'. The  movement has just been serviced by a master watchmaker and is in very  good working order.
Strap	This beautiful watch is on a new leather strap and comes complete with a  new presentation box for safekeeping and wrapping as the perfect gift.

Payment for UK customers by Paypal, bank transfer, or personal cheque, overseas customers by bank transfer or Paypal. Postage is by Special Delivery (insured up to £2,500) within the UK and by International Signed For postage for overseas customers (insured up to £500). The watch can be shipped by DHL at the request of the customer and this will be charged at cost. The watch will be posted on receipt of cleared funds. Customers are responsible for any destination customs charges.
