We have a 15-year-old husky, and having had a prolapsed disc in his neck 2-years ago, he was left with some hind leg weakness. As he's aged, he struggles to walk very far, so the time came when we thought a cart would help him go further, as mentally he is still really active and wants to do things. I checked reviews on a number of carts, and for the price, this looked and came up best. I saw a seller refurbished one (large), bought it, and it was delivered within 2-days. The cart is very well made - super-impressed for the price. Fairly easy to put together, and it has a comprehensive manual with it. I estimated most of the initial length/height for out lad, put him i it, made a couple of adjustments, and we took him for a trial run yesterday. Initially, we though the sports harness looked a bit evil, but it actually supports them very well and our lad showed no signs of discomfort. He can also be a bit panicky, but once he was in and attached, he just walked off! After the initial trial, I noted it needed to be slightly higher on his back end, so raised it an inch, which is also easy to do. The wheels/tyres are brill! Proper tyres, and not cheap plastic ones, which has to help in different terrain/uneven surface. A few people mentioned it tipping, but I cannot envisage this happening with our boy, as he's not that fast, and it was bought more to allow him to walk further, as running/fast pace has sadly long gone for him. I could see it happening with a more active dog, however, so that's something to be aware of until they get used to it and how it works with their style of exercise. Overall, I am super impressed with this cart, the seller's service, and delivery. Would recommend to anyone looking to get a mobility cart for their pet. Read full review

this item is well made and sturdy, although the wheel bolts need lock tight to prevent the wheels from falling off, the body harness was our main problem although the wheelchair was the correct size for our dog, the harness was way to large even when fully adjusted up,this made it very uncomfortable for the dog,the hole weight of the dog and buggy lay on the shoulder strap eventually our dog refused to walk round in it , maybe the harness should be made to measure in stead of one size fits all?

Overall good bit of kit gave my dog new lease of life for a while. The stitching on sports harness came undone and the stitching on the front harness ripped through the foam material it was stitched to.

Well engineered, well made and light but we did have to modify it to completely fit and be comfy for our Boarder Collie. The weight and build of the dog is important when ordering. We used the measurement guide as instructed but found a smaller size would have been better, that is why we had to customise it to fit our boy. After a few runs we found it easy to use and the dog is not hindered too much by it. You need to keep an eye on your dog while out as it will turn over if the dog runs the wheels up a wall or worse still drop off an edge like a canal side. The instructions could be better but its no worse than the ones that come with flat pack furniture. Our dog has done a 2 mile walk in this with no problems. It has given him some freedom again.
