This bike has been ridden recently by our daughter at university. She really loves the look of it and how it rides but it is quite hilly where she lives and needs more gears. This bike is probably more suited to a town that is a bit flatter than Brighton and its environs.
It is largely in good rideable condition. The sturmey archer 3 speed hub has been serviced and fitted with a new linkage recently. The chain is fine and the tyres are OK although 1 of them may need replacing soon. The brake blocks are relatively new and work very well. The saddle is a comfortable gel filled version that is not too old. It also has a set of mudguards. It does not come with any accesories. It does look beautiful and has an elegance that modern bikes find hard to reproduce. Happy bidding. |
