EDIT : I ended this listing yesterday because I had a bit of a 'should I, shouldn't I?' wobble. But after further thought, much as I'd like to keep it, I really, really can't put this up on my own. Have added some photos of the tyres etc - one of the photos is of underneath the kitchen area, all solid (the bottom of the photo is the garage wall btw). Anything you want to ask send a message or ring 07512310599. Thanks --------------------------------------------------------------- Up for grabs is my Rapido Exportmatic, the largest of the Rapido folding caravans :( I bought it at the end of April, but sadly can't keep it - the only reason being that it definately needs two people to put it up, and I really can't do it on my own now the teens have lost interest!!!! If you put this 330716894800 in the search bar it brings up the original listing & photos (or look through my feedback). It is a fantastic piece of kit! Really solid, like a caravan! There are keys for the doors. I have stored it in a garage but it could also be stored unobtrusively on a driveway (& therefore saving on storage fees!). It has a blue cover which is in pretty good condition IMO. I think this is a REALLY lovely Rapido which appears to have been well looked after, and I'm gutted it's impractical for me to keep it :( It's braked, and all lights work. I towed it with my 1.6 Citroen Picasso and hardly noticed it was there, it's the width of a car. The tyres have good tread but are quite old & there is a spare. All corner jacks work. All the bits and pieces seem to be there and the fabric on the seat cushions seem in good condition although a bit dusty & in need of a wash, likewise the curtains, & the interior needs a good spring clean. The box on the front has a fridge plus storage for a gas cylinder, jack handle, EHU cable (all included). Once erected I could see no signs of damp, no damage etc but remember this is 30 years old so will have wear and tear & a few marks here and there, both externally & internally. There is a door at each end, and an old folding step included. Windows all seem fine & there is a window on the sofa/bunk side which not all Exportmatics have. The kitchen has a sink with folding cold tap fed from a pump (although this doesn't work I'm told) There is a twin burner gas hob with grill. There are shelves and a cupboard that goes on the wall with a swing out lamp. There is a serving hatch through from the kitchen to the dining area. Under the sink unit is a fuse-box & transformer for the 12v lighting plus space for a 12v battery (not included). Opposite the kitchen is a storage/cloakroom area with a curtain that goes across for privacy if you wanted to put a portaloo in there (or even a camp bed). The dining area seats 4 adults comfortably, the heater unit is under the table (don't know if this works, or how). The table folds down to make a double bed. Across from that is a sofa which converts into a double bed, or it can be a bunk bed (there are U brackets on the wall to do this). There are cupboards that go on the wall either side of the 'back' door, one has a swing out light. There are curtains that go across for privacy. There is an awning included, I haven't had chance to put the awning up so can't comment on it's condition or whether all the bits are there. So as well as sleeping 4/5 in the caravan more could sleep in the awning :) Whoever wins this will have a great summer with it. Please only buy if you have the funds. I would also request a £200 deposit via paypal & COC. And if you do win I'm not open to haggling, sorry. Obviously - UK bidders only, collect ASAP. Sold as seen. |
