- BOROMIR -
This auction is for a rather rare and out of production metal BOROMIR from the Citadel Minitaures Lord of the Rings ME2 Fellowship Heroes back in 1985. Ideal for your roleplay games or your Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit battles, your Warhammer army... or just paint him up nicely for your cabinet!
This is from the original Citadel Lord of the Rings range back in the Oldhammer days. Far nicer and more characterful than the current models, and a real piece of history.
The actual auction item is shown in the picture; the model is metal. It is is in ace condition, untouched by paint. The sword handdid come away, but has now been been very well glued and pinned in place (again you could almost not tell)... it will not be breaking again! A shield is included. Only the items shown are supplied. A base is only supplied upon request.
You can see a Stuff of Legends Catalogue listing for the model HERE
This is a rare chance to get these models at such a good price...I'll start the bidding at 99p... that's an almost criminal bargain! A mere fraction of the usual selling prices for these models (and nothing compared to the current GW prices for miniatures!!)... You'd be daft to pass this one up...
At the moment I'm selling a load of other Lord of the Rings and Citadel LOTR figures - check out the other auctions!
Now, the boring stuff. Please READ!
Sadly the immoral money grubbing little imbeciles at eBay have decided to charge sellers 10% of their postage fees as well as Final Value fees. I have absorbed this loss for a while, but am losing too much for that to be sustainable. This means I have had to increase my postage slightly - I don't seek to profit from postage, but don't intend to make a loss from it either! Postage is still kept as low as possible - if I have got it terribly wrong I can sort a refund, but remember P&P covers more than just the stamp! A price is listed for UK signed for delivery (Overseas bidders please contact me after the auction if you would like insurance / tracking, noting the following).
If you pay for the item and do not choose insurance / tracking, the understanding is that you are prepared to accept the risk of a loss in the post. I WILL NOT accept responsibility for it, or for obtaining compensation, after the item has been posted... the risk is yours entirely and it will be your responsibility to deal with the Postal Services. I will of course obtain proof of postage and will provide any information you require to make a postage claim. If the price gets particularly high I reserve the right to insist on insurance.
Preferred payment is via Paypal, but you are welcome to contact me regarding alternatives.
I will, of course, combine postage for multiple items; the total is generally based on a standard rate based upon weight plus a reasonable handling fee per additional item (taking into account the new eBay fees for postage). Bidders for multiple items please do not make payment before postage is finalised - I will not chase you with a refund of excess postage paid. I am happy to give you as long as you like to bid on more than one auction... just let me know what you are doing and when you are finished request an invoice for multiple items - I'll get one out to you.
The dispatch time is an estimate - I will always send the model as soon as possible following payment... this can vary from the same day to up to a week (due to the crazy shift system I work!). I am happy to put dispatch on hold to wait for you to win other items to combine P&P. All I ask is you let me know you wish to wait, and let me know when you are finished bidding. If you request an invoice I will send a combined total (I repeat, if you make payment before an invoice is sent, I will not chase you with a refund of excess postage... learn to read listings!).Kindly do not bid if you do not intend to purchase the item... the reward for messing me around is me reporting you to eBay. I WILL NOT cancel any bids made - if you make the bid, make sure you can pay for the item. I do not have a refund policy - there is plenty of information as part of this listing and you can always contact me for more prior to the end of auction.
Payment for an item will be taken as acceptance of these terms and conditions as given in this auction listing. I'll assume you can read it, but please contact me if you require clarification.
Feel free to contact me for any reason. Thanks for looking and happy bidding! FF
P.S. Why not check out my other auctions... some of them are really good!!
