Here we have a pair of PACE RACING RC36 Pro Class carbon suspension forks. These are the uber rariat kult
very Limited Edition Ferrari Red " Eddie Irvine " forks
Specifications: 1998 RC36 EVO 'Irvine' Pro - based on RC36 EVO Pro Class fork
along with the matching Pace RC45 stem to compliment these forks.
The stickers on the L/H carbon leg are marked where I had a Pace/Hope disc clamp attached but this is purely cosmetic. There is a minor scrape on the outside of the R/H dropout, the usual marks from a wheel being clamped in place and some scratching on the back of the crown where someone had a struggle with the steerer bolts in the past ! This looks far worse in the photo than it is, as the flash reflects more off any silver. The red anodising is not as intense as the pictures might imply on your screen; it is somewhat lighter in tone but is however, even all over. The gold Titanium Nitrided Stanchions are unmarked and undamaged and the seals do not leak. Overall, the forks functionality is 100%.
All marks are only really cosmetic and consistent with a fork that has been used. The photographs should clearly show how good the condition these forks are in. They were fitted to my full carbon Mongoose IBOC SX showpiece bike which I have now dismantled as I just wasn't using it anymore. So look out for this very rare Carbon frame, some Hope disc brakes fr & r, and lots of top quality red bits such as Hope Titanium disc wheels, carbon SRAM 9.0 stuff, WTB, Ringle, Renthal, Cook Bros, Middleburn, etc. all coming to an auction near you, soon !
All in all, a classic piece of UK made MTB history from PACE Cycles.
As the steerer is removeable - the winner can choose 1x steerer tube from the following selection as shown:
All have a star fangled nut fitted except * & obviously the aluminium ones weigh less than the steel. The 1 1/8" aluminium headrace seat will be included along with the matching red Canti-stud clamps.
Bidders from outside the UK - the shipping costs will be variable depending on where you are.
Please contact me for a more accurate quote if required - BEFORE BIDDING !!
Any further questions, please ask.
TERMS & CONDITIONS - PLEASE READ RIGHT THROUGH THE small PRINT BEFORE BIDDING!
BUY IT NOW: I never end early, so if there is no BIN specifically listed as such, please don’t bother asking to close the auction early – it’s unfair on all the other watchers & bidders.
PAYMENT: You bid to buy and it’s a legal, binding contract, so please pay promptly - the sooner payment is made, the quicker I can get your item delivered to you. Otherwise the item will be relisted and steps taken to reclaim the selling costs. My preferred method of payment is via Paypal – it’s easy to set up and protects us all online. If you don’t have an account then go and join Paypal now; make sure you CONFIRM your address too ! Items will ONLY be sent after payment has been made AND fully cleared - via Parcel Force, the Post Office or an equivalent service by another commercial courier.
POSTAGE & PACKING: Your postage costs are an estimate to cover all materials, my time, my transport costs & all postage charges. I’m pretty accurate at this, so if I get it wrong then I will either cover the cost difference myself or at my discretion, refund you some postage. However, I do reserve the right to increase my UK postage charges post auction if additional substantial costs are incurred by the winning bidder, e.g. large or heavy items shipped to remote Scottish Islands, etc. - I am not a charity but do try to be fair – a bit of common sense from everybody is sometimes required. I pack VERY well, to the highest standards; no harm ever comes to my items in transit. However I will always try to recycle packaging where appropriate as we only have ONE planet.
MULTIPLE ITEMS: I will discount the postage on multiple purchases if it’s possible to sensibly combine items into one parcel. Ask me about this.
SHIPPING: I send by mail/courier only. No local pick-ups are possible unless this is arranged PRIOR to the auctions end or otherwise offered as such in the listing. I will ship to CONFIRMED PAYPAL ADDRESSES ONLY – please check you have done this via your Paypal account, it will only take 5 minutes. I will ONLY consider shipping outside of the UK to established Ebay traders with confirmed Paypal addresses - contact me before the auctions end. All additional Postage, Shipping, Insurance, Taxes & Duties arising will obviously be entirely at the Buyers expense. Ebay IS NOT MY FULL TIME JOB, so I will try to get your item packaged & shipped as soon as possible after the auctions end – this is usually within 3 working days. Larger items require far more and substantial packaging, plus delivery to a Parcel Force Depot – so will usually take a bit longer.
LOST or DAMAGED ITEMS: In the unlikely event of your item going missing in the Mail system or arriving damaged then I will give you every assistance in claiming from the relevant organisation. I always obtain proof of posting to your CONFIRMED address, cover for the appropriate value and signed for delivery where possible. Once I have shipped the item, I cannot be held responsible for it – I think that’s being pretty fair.
PLEASE LEAVE FEEDBACK: If you are happy with your purchase then leave the appropriate feedback, as I will in return. In the unlikely event you are not happy with your item then please let me know before posting any feedback – most problems can easily be solved with a little common sense and mutual understanding.
QUESTIONS: Any sensible questions are most welcome and will be answered as soon as possible. However I have a life and Ebay IS NOT MY FULL TIME JOB - so I am not connected 24/7, sorry about that !!
Thanks for looking – feel free to check my feedback and good luck with your bidding.
