This is a South Korean version of Red Seeds Profile, also known as Deadly Premonition by SWERY65.
The box and manual are in Korean. In-game text, such as for item descriptions, is in Japanese. All spoken dialogue is in ENGLISH. It is REGION FREE and will work on any PS3 console. The game is very easy to complete, since all objectives and side-missions are explained via a cut-scene and spoken dialogue, and all dialogue is in English. I managed it just fine - you only miss out on small things, like if you pick up a tin of pickles, there's two lines of Japanese text explaining what the pickles are. There's also one side mission where you need to answer a multiple choice medical quiz. Even then, I guessed my way through second time. There was never an official English release on PS3, only on Xbox 360, so if you want to play Deadly Premonition on your PS3, it needs to be the foreign version, Red Seeds Profile. The language barrier honestly is not a problem. For your convenience I'll also include a map of Greenvale I printed off, and the radio guide I wrote for GameFAQs. The radio allows you to fast travel to any previously visited house, but the names are in Japanese, so my little guide shows you the name translations. This is a fantastic game, heavily influenced by Twin Peaks. If you're into trophies, it's also better than the 360 version, since you get a trophy for every side-mission completed. I platinum'd it, that's how enjoyable the game is. I recently bought a 360 and am playing through it again (yes, it is that good!), so decided to sell my PS3 version. Excellent condition, and well looked after. Item will be posted mid-week after the auction ends, since I do not live near a post-office. Any questions, do ask. |
