It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.

Please measure yourself accurately before purchasing this gown, as mistakes cannot be rectified. We also advise that an uplifiting bra is worn to give maximum Regency 'umph'. It was fashionable to wear a corset ~ this was not in order to reduce the waist but to push up the bust in order that the 'bounce' didn't continue once the dancing had stopped! These days we are not so inhibited, however, the authentic design of the Regency gown does mean that a generous bust is evident ~ and why should it not be so! Elizabeth Bennet, Marianne Dashwood, Emma Woodhouse, et al, would have worn a gown such as this. The style, material & trims of this dress were extremely fashionable for the daughter of a gentleman.
Please pay within 24 hours of purchase. The gown will be dispatched to you by First Class mail. Please note, postage & packaging is free for the UK & EU & discounted for the rest of the world.
