Having converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the battle scene great justice; coupled with surround sound, you'll be gripped by the amazing cinematography. I would recommend the director's cut that includes scenes about the relationship between the lead character and his estranged wife and helps you to understand the motivation behind his decision. The run time is 183 minutes for the directors cut and 120 minutes for the cinema version. I was, however, disappointed by the lack of extras, which any fan of this classic would expect to be included. There's only a 20-minute interview with the director and other shot "making-of" vignettes.
This film circles around a robbery. Superb sub plots in the film. This will suit any fans of gangster and action films. All round great film, superb dialog and fantastic cast. One of Tarantinos best films 10/10
Quentin Tarantino's masterpiece Reservoir Dogs is a must-see for any true movie fan. A stellar cast including Micheal Madsen, Harvey Kietel, Steve Buscemi and Tim Roth head a gang of thieves robbing a bank. When things turn eerie, its the men themselves who cause the trouble and not the police. With powerful dialogue and a structure made infamous by Tarantino: the use of flashbacks: the film is an easy 10/10.
One of the best filmed low budget Quentin Tarantino films you will see! with a great cast great gunfights fantastic dialogue and some very graphic vilent scenes part of Tarantinos signature style! if you liked any of Tarantinos other films then this is a must have !
if you love gangter films then this is the ultimate one to watch its funny and gorey at the same time. this is one of my favourate films of quentin tarantino (also pulp fiction) classic film.
