working together with the Police, Trading Standards, and Customs and
Revenue officers to monitor and help stamp out the ever-growing problem
of non-authentic signed memorabilia being sold and distributed
throughout the UK.
AFTAL and its members are
100% committed to reporting and working with the authorities to ensure
that these sellers are removed from our business, and that the public
are made aware of such items and sellers.
By buying only from AFTAL approved dealers, you are helping to rid the industry of the fakes and forgers.
If your dealer is not an AFTAL member, perhaps you should be asking them why?
I sell is typically in excellent condition and I do my best to
accurately describe every item I list. However, the occasional very tiny
ding, very minor surface scratch or very minor corner bend may go
unnoticed/unmentioned. Especially if it will not affect the value of the item.
Autographs take a lot of time and work to obtain. Sometimes an item has
to be carried around for a year (or more) to get it completed/signed-
All while trying to compete with crowds of people trying to get their
item signed as well. You would be shocked at some of the insanity that
occurs. In the typical crowd insanity, an item can receive a very
tiny/minor corner bend and/or a very slight surface ding and/or a very
light surface scratch. This does not always occur but it can happen. No
in-person autograph collector is immune from this.
and my team work hard to protect items during the signing process and
not every item will receive 'crowd inflicted' minor damage but it is
somewhat common for an authentic autographed item (especially photos) to
have a very minor corner bend or two, a very minor surface scratch or a
very minor surface ding. This is the reality of collecting authentic autographs today.
MY AUTOGRAPH PRICING:
price my autographs fairly and at current market value (please do not
compare my prices to the forgeries for sale all over the internet).
Please understand, I only sell authentic autographs and simply stated authentic autographs cost money.
a collector or gift giver or whatever your situation, you simply need
to decide if you want an authentic signature (and buy from me) or if you
don't care and just want a worthless item (and buy from the multitude
of sellers that have no idea what they are doing or are simply forgers).
I believe that not buying an authentic autograph is like throwing your
money in the bin. It is up to you. My advice, of course is to buy from
me. Happy collecting!
Please bear in mind my Autographs are the real deal and real Autographs cost real money.
I am not the cheapest but I am 100% Genuine and every Autograph I sell
is always obtained in-person by me or my team of two!
There are plenty of fake Autograph
sellers offering cheap and nasty fake items for sale, They haven't the
first clue about collecting Autographs and are in it for one thing only you're hard earned cash!. Don't be tempted to throw your money away on a cheap, worthless piece of tat that some cowboy has signed in their front room.
Aftal Approved #12 - Putting Collectors first since 1999
