I have a few cheaper Dab portable radios such as Pure and the generic Tesco brand as well. This little Roberts radio is better. Sound has a better bass tone. Crisp and clear. Good for music and talk radio. Roberts recommend 2500 mAh aa batteries but these are very expensive. 2000mAh seem to do the job. With reduced battery life. Dab works well and catches all the national stations . FM radio is also good. My only small issue it the low volume of the Aux in. For use of Spotify from your phone, the volume has to be max. I got mine second hand for around 30 quid.

eats batteries daft location for all the connections power " mains input " makes radio not able to place radio flush against a wall meaning 5 cm of space needed just because of the lack of design and the display is not suitable for most users its angled not enough to be visible from a kitchen shelf . image shows a radio i believe is a Roberts ( Roberts Unologic needs confirmations ~ who uploaded the image here ? ) VERY complex but lovely once you know how to use all the features multiple record on to SD is a blessing POP master every day on a SD recording is wonderful archiving facility :)).. cant find out if this has DAB +

Bought for use in the kitchen to listen to while we are eating, so we can 'catch up' on the news. With rechargeable 'back up' it will also work if we have a power cut. So fare the rechargeable batteries (2500 mah ) have lasted 10 days which is good.

Excellent little radio don't know why they dropped them to be honest the ability to use readilly available rechargeable batteries is a real bonus.
