A nostalgic look back at Scarborough in the 1950s and 1960s in old photographs. Because of the relatively modern time span there are not so many ‘Scarborough as it was’ photos but many of the Scarborough people themselves at work and play (including an early photo of Robert Palmer during his time with the Mandrakes). Unlike the ‘Victorian postcard’ type books this provides nostalgia that you may have been part of and, who knows, you might even be in here.

‘CONDITION’. The vast majority of the books I sell are non-fiction,second hand and used and therefore generally of more interest for the contents rather than the condition. I genuinely try and describe the condition of books as accurately as I can and attempt to err on the side of caution and can honestly claim I have had complaints twice (and out of thousands that’s not bad). I would never try and mislead anyone, it is often the case where with rare or specialist books for the student that condition is absolutely immaterial, on the other hand I would hate anyone to think that my books are new and be disappointed. A lot of the books are in as new, excellent or unread condition, some may not be so but, whatever the condition, I genuinely try to decribe them accurately.
