About Us

Here at Azcom Direct we sell high quality reconditioned and refurbished security equipment, office furniture and many other interesting miscellaneous items which are well worth a look. We have large amounts of SEAP classified high security cabinets which are trusted by the British Ministry of Defence and many secure Government departments all over the world. All our furniture is made for commercial use so the products we sell are extremely robust and meet all British Standards for quality, durability and fire regulations.




If you require larger amounts of furniture, and are looking for a volume discount, please email us a wish list of your requirements with as much detail as possible including item numbers, quantities, dimensions and colour preference.

We are serious about environmental issues and are working hard to ensure our work ethics and procedures reflect a positive attitude towards a sustainable future for us all. Most of the packaging materials we use are made from 100% recycled materials and we try to reuse packaging wherever possible. 




Because we have large stocks and matching ranges of furniture we can dispatch single cabinets to most areas of the UK but also organize and complete large office refurbishments and installation projects nationwide. We can advise on planning your new office, carrying out the clearance and disposal or resale of existing furnishings and then the delivery and installation of your new furniture.  




We try to be as accurate as possible with the pictures and descriptions we use in our listings and go to great lengths to produce and upload high-quality images and where possible video streaming by Vzaar. Our stock listings are updated daily as goods arrive so it is well worth adding us to your "favourite sellers" and you can also receive an emailed newsletter of stock coming soon, opportunities, latest offers, along with details of interesting and sometimes rare items being auctioned online. We always do our best to keep stock levels on listings as accurate as possible. We have a link on our eBay me page to the Azcom Direct website.

Payment

Payment should be made within 7 days of purchase. Payments can be made via PayPal or securely over the phone by credit/debit card.  




We also accept payment by personal/business cheque or bank transfer but please be aware no goods will be dispatched until payment has cleared. If paying by cheque please ensure you enclose reference details so we can identify the cheque for example an item or invoice number.

PayPal eCheques take a long time to clear but be assured your order will be dispatched as soon as we are notified by PayPal the payment has cleared. 




Payments can also be made at our office in person by card or cash when collecting goods. All prices include VAT at 20%.  When paying over the phone by card an invoice is automatically raised and posted to you along with the customer copy of the transaction receipt. This is also the case for payments by cheque or bank transfer.  Invoices can be raised for PayPal payments upon request.

Shipping/Delivery

We use various methods of transporting goods around the country and often overseas. Overnight couriers are used for smaller and single items while multiple or larger items are dispatched on a 1-3 day door to door service via a national palletised freight network. 




Containers, trailers and all size vehicles are loaded by our friendly porters and qualified fork-lift truck drivers at our warehouse in Essex or direct from the sites we clear nationwide. This is often the cheapest way to buy large amounts of quality furniture. You can buy stock in advance and get loaded as soon as Azcom staff arrive on-site to start the job.




If necessary, we can also use same-day couriers and/or a 2 man delivery service for heavier/larger items or where the items that need to be taken upstairs or installed. We can also arrange timed and Saturday deliveries but these are all additional services to any shipping charges listed on this page so please email us with your postcode and the service required for a tailored quote. 




Stock goods are dispatched within 24hours of purchase and we aim to have your purchase delivered to your door within 5 working days. Please be aware that deliveries are to ground floor front doors only so additional help maybe required at your end for larger items but all our shipments are dispatched as a tail-lift delivery.  




Please check the goods before signing "received in good condition" and if there is obvious damage that has occurred in transit you can simply refuse the delivery. We will then send a replacement or send you a full refund. If there is no time to fully unwrap and inspect your order due the delivery drivers work load please write "unchecked" close to your signature. Damages are rare but unfortunately do happen.

Collections

The collection of goods is available from our warehouse Monday to Friday 10am – 4pm but please give 24 hours notice before collection. Also please note we are closed for lunch between 1-2pm.

Returns

We offer a strict but fair 14 day returns policy so we must be contacted by email within 14 days of purchase if there is a problem with your order or any items are damaged or need to be returned for whatever reason. Please be aware that most of the goods we sell are "used" and sold at a fraction of the retail cost new so a reasonable amount of wear and tear should be expected. Wrong or damaged goods will be collected and replaced or a full refund will be issued including all transport costs. 




Goods refused due to customer error and/or some other reason that is not the responsibility of Azcom Direct, will incur deductions to your refund for transport costs and repacking the goods if necessary. All these costs will be confirmed as soon as we are aware of all the relevant information regarding each individual case.
