ONE PACK of SEWING MACHINE NEEDLES -- UNIVERSAL---extra fine

These are in a pack of 5 needles sized 70/10 ( see below for explanation of sizes)

They are Klasse needles which are a very long standing good firm of German precision made needle makers but supplied by Hemline.

UNIVERSAL are an all purpose needle for regular sewing on standard fabrics. These particular ones are fine so for standard fabrics that may be of a fine weight.

They are designed for most makes of home sewing machines that take needles that have one flat side at the top that goes in the machine.

Makes the pack says includes:Bernina, Bernette, Brother, Elna, Husqvarna,Janome, New Home, Pfaff, Simplicity,Singer, Toyota, Viking etc.

Machine system sizing is 130/705H, 15X1, HAX1

There are 9 sizes of sewing machine needles and American sizing is different from European sizing.

American 8 is the lightest and 19 the heaviest (8,9,10,11,12,14,16,18,19)

European 60 is the lightest and 120 the heaviest (60,65,70,75,80,90,100,110,120)

The higher the number the thicker the diameter of the shaft above the eye.

ALL my items are sent 2nd class in padded envelopes or boxes as appropriate.

I DO NOT promise same day postage although I DO post a minimum of 3 days per week.

Postage CHARGES include cost to post + cost of envelope, packing, tape, cutting time etc.

I email you when item has been dispatched. Royal Mail state 2nd class usually takes 2-3 days BUT CAN take up to 10 (working) days.
