THESE ORIGINAL SIXPENCE COINS DATED 1953-1967

ARE SILVER IN COLOUR, THE LAST REAL SILVER SIXPENCE,

WHICH WAS 50% SILVER WAS PRODUCED IN 1946

THE LAST STERLING SILVER SIXPENCE

WHICH WAS 92.5% SILVER WAS PRODUCED IN 1920

The sixpence coin dates back as far as 1547, and had status as legal tender for almost 450 years.

Possibly the most loved english coin, it was originally held by the bridegroom, but the tradition changed to the bride during Victorian times

We have sold these as bridal favors in larger quantities, if you would like more than 4, please contact us for a good discount.
