Shipping, Postage, Payment and Handling Information.

NOTE WE DO NOT SHIP TO:  ITALY, PORTUGAL.

Payment : payment methods accepted by Best mess Dress are Paypal, Credit cards, Postal orders or cheques from UK Banks,  Building Societies or Post office only. we do not accept any non UK payment method, cash or any overseas currency that needs exchanging.

Callers: we are a mail order company and do not have facilities or insurance to invite callers to the warehouse / offices.

Payment times and terms: All items bought must be paid for within 5 days of the item being won on E bay, if not paid for within 24 Hrs please be aware that we will and do open unpaid item disputes against everyone who has not paid within 5 days which we think is a very generous time scale for payment.  

Packaging:  All items are sent  in the  recommended Royal mail outer / package/ jiffy bag for the item in question.

Domestic handling period on this item : 15 working days as an outside period (Mon to Fri) .

Postage : your item is sent by 2nd class recorded  parcel post which makes it a safer postage senario for both the seller and the buyer, if you do not wish to pay for recorded delivery then please do not buy the item as there is  no alternative other than recorded delivery for UK and overseas parcels ( please note overseas is sent by overseas reocrded mail also). This 2nd class recorded  parcel post can take between 3 and 8 days in the UK as shown on the Royal mails own website so please note this is the case and it is most certainly not as is  popular belief a 2 day service!! NOT parcel post!

NOTE that overseas  postage to Australia, USA , New Zealand and many other long haul areas of the  planet can take a number of weeks to clear your customs/ Homeland security checks which we have no control over, some pass through in days as most do to be fair however ocassionally items get held in backlogs etc , this is not an excuse for you to hand out a negative feedback as we are simply a sender  of parcels and not the carrier of  the parcel so cannot be  held responsible!!! if you do not agree with this then do not buy the item .. 

Overseas buyers must not fill in the  invoice / postage area themselves  with a guess but must await the invoice for the  item unless otherwise informed, we send the correct postage  based  on weight and volumetric weight not guesses and we do not make money on postage as many do .

Items not being what the buyer expected.

if the buyer recieves an item that they believe isnt what they expected please refrain from the childish handing out of negative feedbacks but as per the E bay rules and good common sense dictates  please contact us first and discuss the  issue with us as most things we can explain or solve with no need for stupid feedback comments that are both unwarranted  or childish , sometimes items are damaged in the  post beyond our control also so please should there ever be any issue contact us first and speak to us you will find our team very friendly and helpful so please act accordingly and use dialogue first.

Some buyers may find that their item varies from the item photo slightly  so please remember that different PCs have different screen settings etc and also flash photography can make an item look very bright  and so on and so forth so be aware that small variations may occur.
