ORDERS
We
are a VAT registered company (VAT No: GB 947066402). All our prices include VAT
at the standard rate. The invoices that we provide are sent by email and have
VAT separately displayed.
Payment
can only be made by PayPal through eBay. We cannot take orders or payment over
the phone. To ensure your purchase is protected it will only be delivered to
your registered PayPal address. Once your payment has been received we will
send you a confirmation email through eBay.
If
your item needs to be shipped to an alternative address please update the
address in PayPal before placing your order. We will only ship to your
registered PayPal address. If your order has already been placed, please contact
us and we will refund the order. You may then update the address details in
PayPal and replace your order.
Payments
via Unconfirmed addresses within PayPal may delay the process of the order and
will involve further security checks via OUTO. Please ensure your address is
confirmed to ensure quick dispatch of your orders.
Please
note we can only accept cash on collection. If you would like to collect your
order, please contact us, for further information and to make an appointment.
We reserve the right
to cancel orders and refund payments if we suspect fraudulent behaviour.
DELIVERY
We
aim to dispatch authorised orders within 24 hours of cleared payment (excludes
weekends and bank holidays were goods will be dispatched next business day).
Any dates quoted for delivering the goods and/or completing performance of the
service are approximate only.
We
use professional carriers, such as RoyalMail and UPS for UK and Worldwide

RETURNS
UNDER THE DISTANT SELLING REGULATIONS (DSR)
Written confirmation
is needed for all returns, notification by phone is not acceptable.
You
are entitled to cancel your Contract at any-time prior to receiving the goods
so long as you provide us with written notice or, if you have received the
goods, so long as you provide us with written notice at any-time within 7
working days starting from the day after you received the goods. This is in
line with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR).
You
can send your cancellation notice by email quoting your name, address, the name
or a description of the goods and your order reference number. Upon receiving
your cancellation notice, we will contact you and provide details of where you
must return the goods. You must then immediately return the goods to us at your
own cost and risk. The goods must
not be used and must be 'as new' when returned to us and include its original
packaging and invoice.
We
recommend that goods should be sent by a recorded method of delivery, as proof
of return may be required. Goods should also be insured in case they are
damaged during return transit. You are responsible for the security and safety
of the goods until they are received and accepted back into our premises. If
you do not use insurance and the goods are damaged or go missing, you are fully
liable for the cost of the goods.
Once
the item is received at Outo Electronics, we'll issue a full refund for the
goods to your original payment method. Please note this policy has some
limitations and does not apply to business customers. (The Distance Selling
Regulations do not apply to work@home customers or business customers)
You do not have the
right to cancel the contract if the order is for computer software, CD or DVD
Media which has been unsealed by you, or for consumable goods which, by their
nature, cannot be returned.
Cancelled orders
where the goods and/or the packaging is returned opened, used, damaged,
defaced, worn, scratched, modified (including the software setup) or missing
any of the supplied equipment, including chargers, batteries and other
accessories, will either be rejected and returned to you or you will be charged
a re-stocking fee of 25%.
REFUND PROCESS
FOR RETURNS (UNDER DSR)
We will
examine any returned goods and will notify you about your refund via email
within a reasonable period of time. We will usually process a refund as soon as
possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day we confirmed to you via
e-mail that you are entitled to it. Refunds will be made by crediting the
payment card or electronic payment account you used to purchase the goods.
Postage costs incurred in
returning any goods are the responsibility of the buyer and are
non-reimbursable. If you originally paid for express delivery in preference to
our standard delivery option, this won’t be reimbursed either.
We
reserve the right to refuse to issue a refund in the event that the goods are
found to have suffered damage after delivery or have been misused or used other
than in accordance with the instructions or if the problem is due to normal
wear and tear or if the goods have not been returned with its original
packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights.
IMPORT DUTY - INTERNATIONAL
BUYERS
If you
order Products from our website for delivery outside the UK, they may be
subject to export/import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery
reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any
such import duties and taxes. Import duties and taxes are not included in the
product price or shipping charges. Please note that we have no control over
these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local
customs office for further information before placing your order.
You must
comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the
Products are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such
laws. Please note that when shipping products internationally, you should be
aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by
customs authorities.
We do not mark merchandise values
below value or mark items as "gifts" - International government
regulations prohibit such behaviour.
Products
that are returned due to non-payment of export/import duties and taxes will
only be re-sent once the additional shipping costs, to have the item re-sent,
have been met by the buyer.
