I bought this after shattering my iPod Nano in the gym and didn't fancy buying another at the crazy price that they are. For the money I can't fault it, it does exactly what I need it to, and if it gets damaged it's not the end of the world. The sound is great in my opinion, not a huge fan of the earphones but they do the job quite well. My only criticism is it's easy to accidentally tap the skip button when in your pocket, which is easily rectified by holding the back button which can lock it. Very happy overall, and a great bit of kit to take to the gym and clip to your clothes!

Despite my being a sansa mp3 player fan (I've had an original Fuze for 7 years which I love), personally I didn't like this. Too small and "losable" and the display is too small to be useful. The worst issue for me is that Sansa have imposed a limit of a maximum of 2000 songs in a shuffle list - WHY??? My Fuze has a limit of 10000 songs and it's just firmware, for goodness' sake - no cost difference. No more Sansa products for me, I use n old smartphone as my mp3 player now - no limits at all.

Very small, easily fits in my pocket. God battery life so far, and it has very good sound. A little quieter than other I have tried, however if you increase the volume of the music before adding it then that's not a problem. The FM radio is a nice bonus and works very well, it supports setting presents. It does say "REFURB" on the bottom of the product, and it is printed on, I would rather that was a sticker, it's not necessary to have it there permanently, but ultimately that doesn't really bother me. The included headphones are not very god in my opinion, I don't like the style of earphones that go inside your ear canal, I much prefer ones like the Apple earpods, however as I already have other earphones this wasn't a problem for me. The earphones do come with replacement "ends", if that is the right word, the bits that go in your ear. This is nice, although as I won't be using the earphone I will probably have a use for the replacement ends. One small problem for me is with the UI, specifically the way playlists are designed. At the bottom of the playlist there is an option to clear it, however this clears it if you click on it once, so if you accidentally press that instead of a song, then you have to remake the playlist. You also can't create new playlists, you can only add or remove songs to the three that are already there, despite their being a folder called playlists on the device. This doesn't matter for me, as I don;'t need more than three playlists, but it is something to take into consideration. There are more options in the setting menu than on other MP3 player I have used. There is an option for brightness, which I find to be very useful, and there are options to stop the menu's from looping (i.e. If you press down when you are at the bottom, the it won't go back to the top of the menu). This option can be used to get around the problem of the clear playlist option., as if you just remember to press up once if you don't know where you are in the playlist, then you shouldn't accidentally clear it. Overall I would recommend this if you are looking for a cheap MP3 player, it does the job very well, and although I would like there to be a few more options, those are only minor issues.Read full review

bought for audio books also loaded music which all sounds fine (at least to my 68 year old hearing), the ear buds are good and stay in place, also used my over ear headset which were good, dead handy for clipping to your shirt on the move, the operating menu is a bit fiddly but soon got used to it, all in all a great buy for £20 quid very happy with them, many thanks liam.

Excellent little MP3 player. No documentation but the online manual is excellent. However the internal memory is rather small so you will need a micro memory card, and you will need headphones because the ones supplied have absolutely no bass at all.
