A definite must for an Alice collector.
This very scarce hardback book of 208 pages plus Christmas Greetings poem plus 2 page book catalogue is in good plus condition with good tight binding, clean pages with a small amount of unobtrusive sporadic foxing. The book has 50 wonderful illustrations, not a single one of which is coloured in and all are in very good condition. The book has an illustrated frontispiece with good condition complete untorn tissue protector which is age toned as one would expect. The book has a nice clean title page and nice clean frontispiece. The binding is tight throughout. The book is in very attractive pictorial boards with nice clean front cover in good plus condition with very good front spine cover edge and good rear spine cover edge with a very small hairline fracture to the linen to the top third of the rear spine cover edge only. The spine is in good condition and is slightly grubby from use. The rear cover is in good clean condition with the Macmillan logo still nice and bright. There are a few very minor surface marks to the covers but these are minor. The book is definitely good plus for its age and I think you would struggle to find one in better condition. This is a very scarce and very highly collectable early first edition Alice book in very good condition on the inside and good plus condition for its age on the outside being offered at a ridiculously low starting price, no reserve and a buy it now of £349.99.
The book will be sent international signed for or Airsure only abroad.
