|Seller notes:||“This MTB has been owned from new by me and has covered less than 50 miles, 26 of those on a charity road ride. There are very few superficial scuffs in the usual places (pedals etc.) and some of the allen bolts have minor rusting due to sitting in a shed. Otherwise the bike is like new. The tyres even have the hairs still on them!”|

I am selling my Scott full suspension mountain bike as I have barely used it and it deserves better. It seemed like a good idea at the time. I bought it new in 2004 in the sale for £649 reduced from its retail price of £899, so you can grab yourself a real bargain here. As I said in the condition description, the bike has done less than 50 miles - no word of a lie. The longest trip was a charity road ride of 26 miles, and it was totally the wrong bike for the job.
So it is in pristine condition for the age. It has been stored in a double brick insulated shed and has recently been cleaned up. It may, however, need a gear service and will obviously need setting up on a personal level. The frame size is marked as 'M' so I can't help you any further with that. I am 5'7" and there is plenty more play in the seat post etc. The only upgrades I made are to the seat post and saddle. Everything else is original and nothing is broken.
You are bidding to buy, not to come and have a look. If you want to see it before you bid, message me and we can sort something out. I accept no returns, and payment is either by PayPal before collection or I will accept cash on collection. If you want to arrange someone else to collect, then that is fine. Equally, you can arrange your own courier but I'd rather not spend 30 quid on wrapping the bike up.
I will not end the auction early so please don't ask! If you want it, then bid.
Thank you for looking and happy bidding!
