This listing is for a Seaward IT1000 PAT Tester.
The tester is supplied is it's own integral solid plastic case, with a zipper bag attached for the leads and other items. The case is in used but decent condition, closes properly and holds together. The case strap is also there and in good order. The overlay where the buttons are has some slight cracking, but this does not affect the button functionality.
The tester has it's own integral mains lead. There are no other leads supplied with this tester, so you'll need a replacement earth lead/clip/probe.
As the name implies, this tester has a low current (100mA) IT-safe option, and can perform the following tests:
The tester was one of the most popular ones on the market a few years ago, although it is now out of production, I believe. It has an internal memory and is compatible with a Seaward barcode scanner.
The tester powers up correctly when plugged in. It is currently uncalibrated, and cannot be calibrated without the earth clip/lead, so I have no way of knowing if the unit will pass calibration without repair once it has a replacement lead. For this reason, it is sold as for spares or repair, but would be ideal for someone able to fix it up if required who would like a solid, robust tester capable of full earth leakage for a low price.
