Well made. Good size buttons. Display difficult to read in some lower light settings. Helpful with about 80% of crosswords. Worth buying but price is on the high side coming in at £50 - £60. Takes standard AA batteries so should not cost a fortune to run. Batteries last forever ( well months at a time). Has all the features you want "Solve" "Thesaurus" "Spell Checker" and even has a built in calculator and some simple games.

Lightweight item but I just don't find it very easy to use not as easy as my old one. But very good quality will just have to persevere.

I bought this for a very good friend as I already have one. It has only one flaw, it's thesaurus is not very easy to use,. I also have an elderly Franklin solver, which now appears to be unavailable. To get a synonym on that, one only has to type in the required number of letters and it instantly reels off a list of suggestions. But the Seiko is brilliant, if you want to get suggestions for answers using the letters you already have, even with as many as 15 letters and more than one word in the answer. I just wish the thesaurus worked like the Franklin.

Good all-round aid to finishing crosswords...knowledge view has plenty of categories...quite interesting just to browse. Only complaint is that if it's not used flat on a surface and held in the hand for any length of time, the weight and crooked shape makes it feel awkward, tiring and very uncomfortable, also the '?' button should be as large as the 'Enter'

Decent sized buttons. Easily to read screen. Only drawback is that it doesn't have a "clear" button. Would be nice to have a case, too, as screen is unprotected.
