We endeavour to send your items as cost-effectively as we can, usually by Royal Mail 2nd Class or Standard Parcels service, dependent on weight. The delivery price includes the cost of postage plus careful packing in sturdy boxes with lots of bubble wrap. All packages are despatched within 3 working days of payment clearance. Rates to most worldwide countries are shown in the postage section at the bottom of the listing, just click the box to find your country. Some items may be too heavy to ship abroad cost-effectively, but if you really want to bid, please email us first for a shipping quote. Postage discounts are offered for combined purchases but only where it is possible to box items together, and where weight limits are not exceeded. If you do win more than one item, please wait to be invoiced before making payment. Contact us if you need to know the postage cost before auction end.
All items are as described at the point of shipment and will be carefully wrapped with bubble wrap and buffering but are shipped without insurance. However, liimited cover is provided by Royal Mail on the Standard Parcels service (up to £46). If items are damaged in transit we may be able to reimburse you following a successful claim with Royal Mail. This may require additional information such as photos or packaging.
If you do wish to obtain an insurance quote please request one prior to checkout with PayPal.
Dependent on destination and weight, it may significantly increase the final shipping cost and a new invoice will need to be generated to reflect the new cost.
Terms of Sale
Please note that most of our listed items are vintage and/or antique, and were therefore produced in an era when firing specks in the glaze and other minor imperfections were often the norm. If you prefer a flawless finish, vintage items may not be for you!
We make every effort to describe items as accurately as possible so you can bid with confidence.
Excellent vintage condition – no cracks or chips and very little wear evident, without crazing.
Good vintage condition – no chips or cracks but maybe showing a few signs of age, possibly including a little age-related crazing or minor rubbing to gilding, for example which will be detailed
Fair vintage condition – generally good order, possibly with some minor damage or repairs that we will list in detail, including approx size/length of any chips or cracks. There may also be crazing and signs of wear to gilding or pattern – again, we will describe this in detail to avoid disappointment.
If payment is not received within 3 days of auction end (immediately if listed as a ‘Buy it Now’ offer), the item will be re-listed or offered to other bidders.
