Shlemnik Baykalsky has beneficial effects on the cardiovascular system, normalizes heart rate and blood pressure. Has an antioxidant effect and stimulates the immune system.

Another Shlemnik Baykalsky’s properties: sedative, antihypertensive (high blood pressure lowering), it is widely used in infectious diseases of the digestive system, rheumatism, diabetes, asthma, influenza, tuberculosis, myocarditis, epilepsy, dysentery, headaches and allergies. Acute inflammatory and infectious processes has a strong temperature decreasing effect.

Widespread action Shlemnik Baykalsky due to its unique chemical composition over 100 flavonoid compounds, including skutelarin, baykalin, naykalein, vogonozid, oroksilin, and glycosides, monosaccharides, essential oils, trace elements and others.

Action on the cardiovascular system

High levels of Baykalin in its composition makes it a powerful antihypertensive agent, which successfully applied in the treatment of hypertension combined with cerebrovascular disease.
