We try very hard to get all goods dispatched on time every time. Items upto 2 kg generally go by Royal Mail, goods over 2kg generally go by courier. However when the goods leave us we have no control over them. We do keep all proofs of posting and receipts.
It's very rare for parcels to be genuinely lost by Royal Mail however they can on occasions be delayed by:
· Mis-routing in the delivery network
· Incomplete delivery addresses
· The most common reason for non delivery of parcels sent via Royal Mail is that they are too large for a standard letterbox and have been taken back to the local Royal Mail Delivery Office or Enquiry Office.
If they are unable to deliver your postman or woman will often leave a 'sorry you were out' card. The card explains why Royal Mail were unable to deliver, and tells you how to arrange redelivery or collection.

The post office and carriers do not consider any item as lost until 15 working days have gone by. Only then will they start to investigate. We will try and help with a lost item situation, however it is the customers responsibility to check with neighbours and the Delivery Office.
