I have had one these Terrific screwdrivers for years, but alas managed to break it (used it to open an old large paint tin...not a good idea) This ratchet tool is one of the easiest of screwdrivers to use as the ratchet action just glides your screws home and all the way in. I have used power screwdrivers that give up after a couple of screws due to battery power but this handheld tool wont give up at all I just hope I have this one for as long as my previous one

I used a Stanley yankee many years ago and to be honest I didn't expect this to compare....how wrong I was! I cant recommend this highly enough, works a treat, well made and well worth the purchase. ive used it for everything from stripping down and rebuilding to computers.....hanging doors...building flatpack units....and you never have to worry about batteries!

A good tool. Finds spaces where a chunky drill cannot fit. Needed a bit of oil to smooth the movement. Great for vertical, upwards screwing. Less noisy than a drill. Can regulate the force with screws needing care.

This brings me back to my “youth” starting as an apprentice in 1974- the “Yankee” screwdriver was the “have to have” tool. Makita brought out the 9.6v cordless many years after, and became the market leader. This Silverline spiral ratchet screwdriver brings the Yankee up to date with the benefits of the hex drive and modern flexibility, and best of all- ALWAYS CHARGED!!!
