This film shows...
Junior Gym
This first chapter of the DVD shows Paul working in the gym with two young goalkeepers aged 14 and 9 respectively. Paul explains and shows in great detail exercises for movement memory, plyometrics, balance, speed, co-ordination, core strength, power and warm ups.
Junior Field
Simon then works with the two young goalkeepers on the pitch, taking them through a series of goalkeeping drills which incorporate the work done by Paul in the gym.
Pro Gym
This chapter shows Paul working with a young professional goalkeeper on core strength, bridge work, strength and power development.
Pro Field
The final chapter shows Paul and Simon working on the pitch, looking at a series of warm up exercises, stretching routines, resistance work using bungee ropes and medicine ball work. Simon ends the session with a series of goalkeeping specific drills to improve speed, power and agility.
