Slate warning/beware/no parking house signs

Not all house signs need to be rude in grammar or made from paper with curled sun damaged edges. Show that you mean business, or that your dog really does bite with a permanent house sign made to last in slate!

After being cut to size, the markings are laser-engraved, allowing absolute perfect accuracy and definition. The heat of the laser creates its own mark on the slate, offering resistance to the elements as no paint or wax is applied - simply a natural effect from intensive heat! We add a seal to the slate signs to offer you further resistance to rain, as slate is porous.

We have created some variations with popular messages, but as the signs are made from scratch to order, you can have your own sign created using the "bespoke" option. Leave a message in the "note to seller" section in PayPal. Be sure to state if you want slate or granite.

For the bespoke service - we can use any font that you like, and will always send you a proof by email after your purchase for your approval (please monitor your email closely up to 24hrs after purchase, order will not start until we receive your approval), otherwise the details in the samples will be used.

Cooper Black (not shown)
Calibri (not shown)
Verdana

Calibri will be selected as standard, where no preference is stated.

If you'd like a variation of the wording to suit your own needs, simply leave a note, as all signs are made to order. We can accomodate most accents for phrases in different languages - please enquire if applicable.

As laser engraving is technically non-contact, the engraved design will be flush on hard materials such as stone (slate/granite) and a deeper groove in the wooden materials (including photoframes in our shop).

Sizes (approx) - thickness vary from approx 8mm - 10mm, with the rectanglar dimensions being 300mm x 80mm (approx).

Holes are provided free of charge (left and right of centre) - if you don't require holes drilled, leave a note in the PayPal section (note to buyer). Owing to different surfaces that the signs are mounted to, we ask that you research and supply your own fittings.
