An excellent phone - last one lasted 10 years - I was pleased to get a replacement and port numbers over via IR - great if you do not want a smart phone and just want a phone to be a phone (I use an ipad for the other smart phone features - much better for readability) - not anything I can think about to complain about - batteries last a good five days as well for when travelling.........
Sony Ericsson K750i Mobile Phone is excellent devise for daily job. Very fast, comfortable and solid. I’m really glad to find it on e-bay. My first Sony Ericsson was t100 – a first model. After it was deferent model of Sony Ericsson. Now I use k750i for “heavy duty” and Sony Ericsson Satio U1 time to time for internet etc. Eduard.
Product is as good as I hoped

Pros: Camera quality still excellent; nice keypad; nice design; call handling great; still a quality phone! Cons: Now discontinued, only really available secondhand; A couple of design flaws - joystick reliability very suspect; prone to camera ribbon problems. This is a bit of a retrospective review, I've just bought another of these as a backup phone just because it's still such a good phone, and miss the one I had before! It's camera is still excellent, and better than that on phones like the iPhone despite the design of the K750i now approaching 3 years old. These are now only available secondhand, unless you can find someone selling old stock off. Things to watch for are faulty/'sticking' joysticks, these can fail with use and dust ingress. Later K750is had a rubber protective casing put over the joystick on the mainboard which helps, though still prone to failiure. Despite this, I prefer having a joystick to a D-pad or conventional keys, makes navigating through menus quick and easy. The other thing to watch for is the camera ribbon is prone to splitting, or the little microswitch that activates the camera on opening the lens cover can snap, meaning you can't use the camera. Also there can be keypad problems where keys stop working suddenly. Despite these flaws, this is still a classic phone, which was a revelation when it came out and helped change Sony Ericsson's fortunes. It has a nice feel to the keypad especially when texting, typing text/navigating menus nice and quick, pictures it takes are near-digital camera quality, and some even argue the pictures are better than later SE's like the K800i/K810i! Overall, I'd recommend this phone as a perfect phone as a backup phone/budget phone. Just watch for unresponsive joysticks, cameras that don't work and keys that don't work. This is a reliable phone - just not quite as bombproof as phones like the Nokia 6230/6230i. These flaws are why I've had to knock a star off, otherwise this is definately a 5-star phone, despite now being 3 years old.Read full review
