TERMS & CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE
By bidding on our items you are agreeing to abide by these terms
We sell such a massive and diverse range of items from several different stores which are new, graded and customer returns, we have one set of terms for everything:-
PAYMENT: Items must be paid for within 48 hrs of auction end – payment on collection is of course fine. We accept cards. PayPal payments to firstname.lastname@example.org. Cheques made payable to Prosoft Systems (we don’t ship goods until cheques have been banked and cleared).
SHIPPING: We send items out daily, so you will receive it promptly. We don’t ship over water, Ireland, Europe, UK islands.
COLLECTION: Collection is required within 4 working days. Collection times are Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 10.00 – 15.00. We are not open at weekends. We are aware that our collection times might be difficult for some people. We have reasons for these hours. Email us if you have a problem.
PICK UP ONLY: We have good reason for pick up only – our couriers won’t take such items due to weight or size or the item is un-packages/breakable. Please don’t ask how much it is to post such items.
WARRANTY: We give 7 day’s warranty. Please notify us within 7 days if an item is faulty and you wish to return it. All Buy It Now purchases are covered by the distance selling regulations giving customers 7 days to cancel their purchase. Auction items are not covered by this but must be as described. We don’t get involved with manufacturers warranty and can’t answer for the manufacturer
If an item is new or ex-display it will often be covered by manufacturers warranty particularly with respect to tvs, notebooks. This will often depend on how old the model is.

NON-PAYMENT: We open non-payer disputes in 4 days (unless you have contacted us with an alternative and we have agreed) – we will normally open a non-payment sometimes even if a collection is going to be made. This is because we suffer a huge 30% non payer rate and some collections are never made.
POSTAGE COSTS: We believe our postage costs to be fair. They cover bubble wrap, black wrap, boxes, tape, bags, other packaging, courier charges and the wages to pay staff to deal with them. Our courier rates are all inclusive of VAT, fuel surcharge and packaging.
RETURN COSTS: We do not pay postage costs for return items back to us, this includes, items that are DOA, or missing a part – however we will refund you extremely promptly once it is returned.
MISSING ITEMS/FAULTY If an item is faulty or missing parts – we won’t order the parts in for you, send a replacement item or pay return costs. You either return the whole item at your cost or ask us what options there are. Often we can offer something, but generally it will need to be returned. Easy items such as remotes, power leads, USB cables etc can usually be replaced without a problem. Auctions include “Included in this auction” header and this overrides everything – even if something else is mentioned lowed down in the description
EUROPE-OVER SEA: We only ship to mainland England, Scotland and Wales. We do not ship to Europe or over Water in UK. (exceptions to this may be if it is less than 2kg and can go by post) Please do not email and ask if we ship to these places.
TESTING: We test all washing machines on a quick wash. We test all fridges to see i f they cool, all tvs and electricals are tested to see if they perform as they should, all other items are inspected for a few minutes to check that they work as they should or for any marks. Mistakes can be made but are rare. If we have to make a mistake its only because we are human, it’s not intentional. You will have to return the item at your cost, we will however offer you free postage on your next purchase up to £8.95. We do not normally clean all items before despatch
EMAILS: We answer emails mon-frid and occasionally weekends. We don’t answer rude emails – if you have a complaint – please take the time to word it nicely. We always endeavour to resolve issues swiftly and fairly as our feedback reflects. Don’t leave bad feedback without contacting us first.
